Everything here comes from Ford's own published material, checked on 26 October 2026. Where Ford has not released something yet, this page says so instead of guessing.

The ones that changed
Five Fords with real 2027 updates
2027 Ford F-150
The biggest changes of any Ford this year. A new 3.0L EcoBoost V6 replaces the 2.7L as the standard engine, the 5.0L V8 returns to King Ranch and Platinum for the first time since 2023, and BlueCruise with Towing makes it the first Ford truck that can tow hands free. Plus the new F-150 Carhartt at $62,660 MSRP.
2027 Ford Super Duty
Ford pushed the off road hardware down the price list. Tremor now reaches XL with the STX Appearance Package, a new XL Off-Road package puts factory 35 inch tires on a plain work truck, Platinum reaches the chassis cabs, and there is a first ever Super Duty Carhartt. From $46,125 MSRP.
2027 Ford Expedition
The nameplate turns thirty. A Platinum only 30th Anniversary Appearance Package, three new colours including one exclusive to that package, a standard 24 inch panoramic display, and the Tremor with 33 inch all terrain tires. From $63,920 MSRP.
2027 Ford Explorer
A refinement year with one feature worth the upgrade: BlueCruise now does Automatic Lane Change. The ST gets a new Sinister Package in gloss black. Five trims, and it still opens under forty thousand at $38,680 MSRP.
2027 Ford Bronco
Two new series. Bronco Filson pairs premium materials with real capability and comes with the 380 horsepower 3.0L EcoBoost as standard. Bronco RTR is built for speed over rough ground. Both are open for order now. Ford has not published 2027 Bronco pricing yet.
2027 Ford Transit
A carryover year. Ford's published change list is one item, the newly available Ford Security Package. The useful question is which of the 38 configurations fits your trade, so that is what our Transit page covers. From $48,400 MSRP.

Worth knowing
Two more 2027 arrivals we have not built full pages for yet
Both of these are real, and both are missing information we are not willing to invent.
2027 Mustang Mach-E Trail
Trail is a $2,295 package, not a trim, and it is available only on the Mach-E Select eAWD. It raises ride height by 10 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear, fits Michelin CrossClimate2 tyres and the steering rack from the Mach-E Rally, adds a standard 400W Pro Power Onboard with outlets in the cargo area and centre console, and marks itself out with a Carbon Black lower front fascia. Orders opened on 22 October 2026 with arrival expected in the first quarter of 2027.
It is a genuinely good fit for this area: gravel to a trailhead, a forest road to a campsite, and power at the far end of it. We have not published a full Trail page because Ford has not released Trail specific photography, and we are not going to illustrate it with a standard Mach-E that does not show the package.
2027 Ford E-Transit
Ford lists the 2027 E-Transit Cargo Van at $54,260 MSRP with a 3,322 lb maximum payload, an available 2.4 kW Pro Power Onboard and the available Vehicle Integration System 2.0. What Ford has not published for 2027 is EPA range, battery capacity or charging times.
For a van working out of Princeton, range is the first question, not the last. So rather than repeat a figure we cannot source, call us on 304-716-4594 and we will confirm the current numbers with Ford Pro before you commit to anything.
No changes announced
Four Fords where 2027 is just a number
As of 26 October 2026, Ford has published no 2027 model year content for these four. Their pages on ford.com still lead with 2026.
Ranger
No 2027 content published. The current Ranger carries on.
Maverick
No 2027 content published. Trade press has reported trim changes, but Ford has not.
Bronco Sport
No 2027 content published. Same position as the Maverick.
Mustang
No 2027 content published.
You will find websites quoting confident 2027 prices and trim changes for the Maverick and Bronco Sport. Those come from trade press, not from Ford. We will update this page the day Ford publishes something, and not before. In the meantime all four are in stock now as current model year vehicles, in our new inventory.
Changing form
Escape, Lightning and the all new Fathom
| Nameplate | Status for 2027 | What it means if you were waiting |
|---|---|---|
| Ford Escape | Discontinued. Ford's own page says the Escape is taking a breather. | There will be no 2027 Escape. The Bronco Sport is the closest replacement in size and the Explorer is the step up. We still carry used Escapes, and our Escape research page stays up for owners. |
| F-150 Lightning | Ford says it is no longer available to order in its current form, and is being rebuilt on the Universal EV platform as an extended range electric truck. | The next Lightning pairs an electric drive with a petrol generator for range, rather than being a pure battery truck. No order date yet. Worth waiting for if range anxiety was what stopped you the first time. |
| Ford Fathom | All new electric midsize pickup. $28,350 MSRP plus a $1,595 destination charge. Preorder interest list only, with preorders opening in early 2027. | This is the cheap electric truck people have been asking about. EPA range is not published yet and first deliveries are during 2027. If it interests you, tell us now so we are not starting from scratch when allocation opens. |
Buying a 2027 Ford in Princeton
Most of these are order and build, not lot stock
The 2027s are arriving over the coming months rather than all at once. The F-150 is orderable now with deliveries expected early 2027. The Bronco Filson and RTR are open for order. The Expedition and Explorer are in production.
That matters more than it sounds. On a first year series like the Bronco Filson, or a limited edition like the Super Duty Proud to Honor, allocation is finite and early orders win. Waiting to see one on the lot at 498 Courthouse Road usually means taking whatever specification we happened to order months earlier.

Questions
Questions we actually get asked
Which Ford models changed for 2027?
Five changed meaningfully: the F-150, Super Duty, Expedition, Explorer and Bronco. The Transit and E-Transit are carryover years with one addition each. The Mustang Mach-E gains a new Trail package. The Ranger, Maverick, Bronco Sport and Mustang have no 2027 content published by Ford as of 26 October 2026.
Is there a 2027 Ford Escape?
No. Ford has discontinued the Escape, and its own page says the Escape is taking a breather. There will be no 2027 model. The Bronco Sport is the closest replacement in size and the Explorer is the step up. We still carry used Escapes and keep our Escape research page up for existing owners.
What is the cheapest 2027 Ford?
Of the models with published 2027 pricing, the Explorer Active is the lowest at 38,680 dollars MSRP. The Super Duty F-250 XL starts at 46,125 dollars, the Transit Cargo Van at 48,400 dollars and the Expedition Active at 63,920 dollars. Ford has not published 2027 pricing for the F-150 lineup beyond the Carhartt, or for the Bronco.
Is there a 2027 Ford Maverick or Bronco Sport?
Ford has published no 2027 model year content for either, as of 26 October 2026. Both pages on ford.com still lead with 2026. You will find websites quoting confident 2027 prices and trim changes for them, but those come from trade press rather than from Ford, so we are not repeating them. We will update this page the day Ford publishes something.
What happened to the F-150 Lightning?
Ford says it is no longer available to order in its current form. It is being rebuilt on Ford's Universal EV platform as an extended range electric truck, pairing an electric drive with a petrol generator rather than running on battery alone. There is no order date yet. If range was what stopped you buying the first one, the next version is worth waiting for.
What is the Ford Fathom?
An all new electric midsize pickup, priced at 28,350 dollars MSRP plus a 1,595 dollar destination charge. Right now it is a preorder interest list rather than an order book, with preorders opening in early 2027 and first deliveries during 2027. EPA range is not published yet. If it interests you, tell us now so we are not starting from scratch when allocation opens.
Can I order a 2027 Ford at Ramey Ford Princeton now?
Yes, for several of them. The 2027 F-150 is orderable now with deliveries expected early 2027. The Bronco Filson and RTR are both open for order. Expedition and Explorer are in production. On first year series and limited editions, allocation is finite and early orders win, so starting now is how you control the specification rather than taking what arrives.

Talk to us about a 2027 Ford
Most of the 2027s are order and build right now. On a first year series, allocation is finite and the early order wins.
MSRP excludes destination and delivery, taxes, title, license and dealer fees, and is subject to change. Towing, payload and capacity figures are maximum available for a specific configuration when properly equipped, and vary based on cargo, vehicle configuration, accessories and number of passengers. See the Ford RV and Trailer Towing Guide for limitations and operating instructions. Driver assistance features are supplemental and do not replace the driver's attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. BlueCruise is a hands free, eyes on feature available only on pre qualified divided highway sections called Blue Zones and requires an active subscription after the included trial. Specifications, packages and availability for the 2027 model year are as published by Ford at the time of writing and are subject to change.
