Tremor on an XL, and 35s on a work truck
The Tremor Off-Road Package has always been a nice thing on an expensive truck. For 2027 Ford put it on XL with the STX Appearance Package, which is the cheapest door into a factory built off road Super Duty.
What comes with it:

- Electronic locking rear differential and a limited slip front differential
- Factory tuned suspension with a lift
- Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist and Rock Crawl Mode
- Skid plates and water fording vents
Water fording vents are not a brochure feature in southern West Virginia. Anyone who has watched a creek crossing come up after a storm on a gravel road off US-460 knows exactly what they are for.
The XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package
This one is for people who want the hardware and none of the styling. It puts factory 35 inch tires on a work truck with no decorative decals, and adds locking differentials, performance shocks, the trail tech features and a full size spare.
It is also compatible with the optional Ford Performance 12,000 pound Warn winch, which matters if your truck is the one that goes out when something else gets stuck.
Tremor on a Crew Cab with an 8 foot bed
New for 2027, and a genuinely useful combination. It pairs the off road package with the 176 inch wheelbase and the 48 gallon fuel tank, the largest Ford offers. Available on XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum.

Carhartt and Proud to Honor
Two new appearance packages, and neither is only cosmetic in the way that word usually means.
The Super Duty Carhartt Package is a first for the nameplate. It is available on XLT Crew Cab single rear wheel pickups and brings Carhartt design cues with work ready details, which in practice means materials chosen to survive a work boot rather than to photograph well.
The Proud to Honor Package is a new limited edition, available across XL through Platinum on F-250, F-350 and F-450. It uses red, white and blue graphics with darkened accents and black wheels.
Being a limited edition, allocation is finite. If it matters to you, order early rather than waiting to see one on the lot at 498 Courthouse Road.
