Some of the other updated or new features include new advanced safety features that includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Pre-Collision Assist. The blind spot monitoring system also received an update for the 2018 model and now can detect vehicles in your trailers blind spot too. The 2018 F-150 also hosts a newly updated design that features newly shaped headlamps, new grill options, new wheels, and a redesigned tailgate.
Now. For the big exciting news. The 2018 will offer two new engines. A new 290 horsepower 3.3-liter V6 engine with twin independent variable cam timing. The other will be the first every diesel engine offered on a F-150. The size of the engine or how much horsepower it will have is still being kept secret but a diesel engine is on its way.
