The Ford F-150 Raptor is starting off the new year by being named the 2017 Best Pickup Truck of the Year by Cars.com. According to media.ford.com, it’s thanks to the Raptor’s physique that made it a winner. It has more power and torque than its predecessor, but it also has a military-grade, aluminum-alloy body that’s 500 pounds lighter than before. Combine that with a first-in-class 10-speed transmission, unique BFGoodrich tires and new Fox Racing shocks, and you get a beast of a truck that dominates both on and off-road performance.
It’s dominance even beat out the redesigned and reengineered 2017 SuperDuty, with its 20 class-exclusive features and first-in-class towing, payload, and torque to make it the most capable SuperDuty yet! But we’re not surprised by the win, or both of these two trucks getting nominated, and if you want to know more about our awesome F-Series vehicles, please feel free to contact us on our website.
